“ This cafe’s shakshuka croissant - also known as the jammy egg croissant - is possibly the best croissant I’ve had in my life. The crispness of the pastry, the softness of the runny egg, the flavor of the tomato filling, and the way they all come together really makes it a 100000/10. I’d deadass fly back to Washington D.C. just to eat this. On top of that, the workers were super nice. Amazing cafe, would study or do work here everyday. ”
“ Was super impressed here and came back the next day! The za'atar croissant egg sandwich was so flavorful, well portioned and well cooked. The pastries were super fresh and perfectly fluffy and tasty. The coffee was also great, I got the coconut cardamom twice. When it's busy it is very loud and there can be a wait but it moves fast. ”
“ One of my favorite places to grab a bite. Perfect for a quick breakfast (delicious espresso drinks and THE BEST PASTRIES IN DC) lunch (fabulous pita sandwiches) and now they offer a dinner option (All the Kebabs) My images are from a dinner pop up collaborating with Chef Danny Lee but if this is any indication of what their dinner service is like I can’t wait to go back. Just incredible start to finish Shout out to the dessert and bread program. It is (in my opinion) the best in the city. Don’t skip dessert!!! ”
“ Went to All the Kebabs and the food was great! We had the arayes, batatas, lamb and octopus. The octopus was tender and cooked to perfection. The lamb was juicy and full of flavor. Our waitress was amazing and super helpful with recs. We got the affogato for dessert as well. The drinks were also refreshing and strong! ”
“ So nice, I went twice. The food was stellar! Loved the coffee. Everything from pastries to pitas to hummus. The BATATA tots are deliciously fried cubes of potato fondant and seasoned so well. The brisket hummus reminded me of Galit, Chicago. I felt transported eating the cauliflower. Also had the falafel but it was so good, I forgot to take a picture! You just can’t go wrong on this menu. ”
“ Food as absolutely amazing. We got the breakfast pita, egg croissant, smoked dirty chai, latte, and chocolate pan suisse. I have 0 notes everything was great truly. In terms of line/flow to order, it was a bit difficult. There is about 3 feet from the entrance to the front counter and the line forms fast. We felt rushed to choose something off the menu quickly and it was a tight fit with the line. Luckily, everything on the menu is great so it worked out :) ”
“ Go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner (All The Kebabs). Everything is delicious. I love the coffee drinks as they aren’t too sweet but have interesting flavors and ingredients. The pastries are all so good and I love the shakshouka and bagel sandwich. We also have had two incredible dinners here. ”
“ I ordered Peanut iced coffee it was so good! A new flavor to try, I didn’t expect peanut butter taste mixed so well with milk. I also ordered twist soft serve, it’s good but too sweet for me personally. I will just go for their iced coffee if I go again. ”
